Twisted Minds and Team Falcons qualify for Boston Major

Twisted Minds and Team Falcons become the first two teams to join Kick-off Weekend Champions Karmine Corp at the RLCS 2026 Boston Major. Having shared the spoils so far in MENA, both teams sit a distant 15 RLCS ranking points ahead of the chasing pack and will now duke it out for seeding in Open 3 to confirm who comes into the Major as the regional favourite.

Coming into RLCS 2026 both organizations made big-name changes to their squads. Team Falcons added Moroccan professional Samy “dralii” Hajji as a replacement for their franchise star Mohammed Khalid “trk511” Alotaibi, a brave move aimed at securing the organization its first World Championship win. In comparison, Twisted Minds rebuilt around Hisham “Nwpo” Alqadi following RLCS 2025, adding trk511 in an almost obvious move while also recruiting high-profile Frenchman Evan “M0nkey M00n” Rogez, setting up the region for another famous rivalry.

The two teams got an early taste of the rivalry at the Saudi eLeague 2025 Championship where Twisted Minds proved the more able side, defeating Team Falcons 3-1 in the upper bracket and then 4-2 in the grand final. This continued into RLCS 2026 Open 1, where Twisted Minds opened their RLCS account with another 4-2 win over Team Falcons. This win was reversed yesterday when the two teams met in the final again having each qualified for the Boston Major, resulting in a 4-2 victory for Team Falcons. The two squads are likely to trade blows for the remainder of the season, with this back-and-forth reminiscent of the contest between Rule One and Team Falcons during RLCS 2022-23.

The two sides are likely to meet again before the Bostom Major during the RLCS 2026 Open 3.
