Gamers First targeting high profile European team

American esports organization Gamers First, is targeting a high profile European team as they plan their entry into Rocket League Esports.

Gamers First is a youthful organization founded by retired National Football League professional Kenny Vaccaro in December 2021. Kenny Vaccaro featured for both the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans during his eight-year career at the highest level of NFL before retiring to launch Gamers First. Gamers First quickly established itself in the Halo scene with the signing of a North America roster headed by Devon “PreDevoNatoR” Layton and have recently added Jesse “bubu dubu” Moeller to the lineup. The organization has also built a content creation team centered around Destiny 2 featuring seven creators with over one million followers on Twitch combined. In a recent endeavour, the organization has also partnered with current NFL cornerback Darius Slay, who was brought onboard for content creation and as a brand representative.

With its one-year anniversary on the horizon, Gamers First is now looking to expand into other spaces with Rocket League seen as a viable opportunity. The organization announced the signing of former Kansas City Pioneers Co-founder Lj “Renz” Browne as President on September 17th, who has always been a strong advocate for the Rocket League Esports scene. As a result, the organization is now targeting a high-profile team in Europe looking to challenge for regional titles and will hope to develop its growing brand in a new scene.
